here we go a-giving...

Behold the power of Hallowine!   At our fund raiser we had folks "raise their paddle" to fund the needs of one of our favorite supportees - The Anacortes Family Center - which offers shelter and a leg up to families in crisis right in our home town.

Due to YOUR generosity we were able to present Director Dustin Johnson with a check for $5108 - enough to fund the shelter for a whole month!

Another Community Thing That We Do

So some of our craftier members spend their down time (not sure what that means exactly, maybe 2 am?) knitting warm fuzzy hats.  LOTS of warm fuzzy hats.  We then bring these toasty chapeaus to the Island Hospital Cancer Care Center to be offered to the hair follicle challenged who are enduring chemotherapy.
